I liked the way the author built his characters and did a great job of moving from investigation to another. Is a second book out or coming out?
A very enjoyable read.
Excellent read. Certain parts were a bit confusing. This was especially true when all the different populations are introduced. E.g., browns = brown hair and skin; reds = red hair and pale skin; blues = blue hair and skin. Logically, I wanted a hair/skin consistency or more options of just an identifying hair color. It felt a bit odd to have ALL the various Dragon races to seemingly match...except the reds and golds.
From a story standpoint, definitely a good read. Good development, understandable rationale for movement within the story, nice lead-up to "the big reveal," and rather enjoyable ending. Not a long book, but a good one to have on a slow afternoon with a cup of coffee or mug of tea.
Conclusion if I find it in print locally, I'll buy the series. It's a re-read. Wish the 3rd volume was out (spoiler second was a little better than first. Again, nice character development and realism).
This is an excellent book and I cannot wit for the sequel.
It was kind of slow in the beginning but it gets better. Crystal was driving me crazy. John and Daisy I love. Over all it was a great read.
This book blew my mind. I couldn't stop reading. Very exciting. From beginning to end. Wish there was a second part to it.
I believe that this is one of the best dragon stories I have read as of yet, and I have read quite a few books on dragons.
